The short version

We may earn a commission if you book through one of our links, at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you would pay by going to the booking platform directly.

We are not a tour operator or a travel agency. We do not sell trips, take payments or act as an agent for any operator or platform.

Who does what

Every trip listed here is sold and operated by a third party. On this site that is currently one family of listings run by two operators on GetYourGuide and two further operators selling through Viator. Their names, the platforms and the product IDs appear on each tour page so you can check the listing yourself.

The operator runs the boat, the platform takes your payment and holds your booking, and both set the price, the inclusions and the cancellation terms. We have no authority to make commitments on their behalf and cannot change, refund or reschedule anything.

What the commission does not buy

Placement, ratings and wording are not for sale, and no operator has paid to appear here or to be described in a particular way.

The practical test is on the pages themselves. The trip we single out as our pick is not the most expensive one. The priciest listing on the site, the private sunset sail, gets told plainly that its return time is not published and that the per-head math only works at full occupancy.

Ratings and reviews

Ratings and review counts are the platform's own, read on the date shown on each page: 4.9 from 1,225 reviews on the leading circuit, 4.87 from 582 on the Alcione excursion, 4.8 from 139 on the clear boat, 3.8 from 131 on the three-hour loop. We do not calculate a site rating of our own, and this site carries no aggregate rating of its own in its markup, because the site has no reviews.

Quoted reviews keep the reviewer's first name and country as published. We do not write testimonials.

Prices

Prices shown are starting prices at the time of the last check, stated on every tour page: $28, $57, $81.29, $91 and $170 per adult as read from each listing, and $348.40 per group of up to seven for the private sunset. They move with season, occupancy and currency. The price that counts is the one on the checkout page before you pay.
